| LIGHT VS. DARKNESS: Choose your shield But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 Whenever you are utterly ashamed and filled with guilt, yet choose not to “come clean“, you are being ruled by darkness. Now, instead of the truth shielding you… you, are shielding the truth. Shielding - or covering up - the truth, will keep you, as sick as your secrets. And the spiritual wickedness you are willfully suppressing, will begin to manifest itself in the flesh, the mind and the emotions. No doctor can help you, no pill can cure you. They can only “treat the symptoms”, which have manifested. The only way to utterly rid yourself of the turmoil and chaotic throes of darkness, is to axe the wickedness at its spiritual root, sin. Sin is anything done against the will of God. Sin separates us from our relationship with our Creator. Just ask Adam and Eve… However, mere man is powerless to destroy spiritual darkness in and of him -or her- self. Therefore, our Creator chose to become Flesh, and entered physically into this filthy, sin-infested world, delivering the message of our Salvation: Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. His Light pierces the darkness, and where His Light is, darkness cannot dwell! Therefore, if you are living in shame… you are dwelling in darkness. That decision literally gives your permission to Satan, to set up a stronghold in your life! COME CLEAN! Now is the hour of your salvation! It is not by chance that you are reading these words, and they are stirring your conscience… it is by His grace. The LORD is giving you the opportunity to COME CLEAN! And to start over again. He wants to deliver you, out of your darkness. He wants to make you a New Creature in Himself! He wants to love you with an everlasting love. Confess to Him now, your sin, with genuine remorse and sorrow - and He will deliver you out of the darkness, and give you a new, clean, and pure heart… Today, beloved, as you ponder the Virgin Birth, Life, Ministry, Crucifixion, Death, Burial and Resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ, also consider this: if you do not die to self, and live for Him…. Then you shall surely live for self, and die for self. Tragically, Jesus will have no claim on you, when your eternity comes, and you will remain in everlasting darkness, eternally separated Him. For you will have chosen …to shield yourself and your secrets…from The Light. THE FRUIT Our Creator endowed us with free-will - the POWER of choice!
