God Whispers When God whispers to you, do you hear his voice? Or have life’s struggles dulled your hearing and caused a barrier between you so that you cannot hear Him at all? Have you been caught up in life’s snare and forgotten he’s even there? His voice sounds like a mighty rushing wave pounding fiercely against the trials of your life Yet knocking softly upon your heart asking, ‘May I come and dine therein? Where have you been? I’ve whispered your name. I trust you were not indulging in sin again.” I knew I had, thus, I bowed my head in shame and replied, “Oh God forgive me this day; Yes, I have sinned again. Please forgive me Dear Lord. Why did you make me so weak oh Lord? I neglected my prayers, though even worse Dear Lord, I became distracted with life’s ambitions and forgot how to truly listen. | Meet Elizabeth, my friend and Biblical Counselor! Read her blogs and you will discover a spiritual depth and devotion of someone who truly serves Jesus! Dr Elizabeth T. M.Sc (Chemistry), C.Dip.A.F., MBA, DBA, M.Div (Biblical Counseling) Dr Liz began her career as a college lecturer in chemistry. She subsequently moved into the business field, securing an accounting and finance diploma with the Certified Accountants Association (UK) followed by a MBA and DBA (Doctor of Business Administration). She then managed a busy medical practice followed by a auto mechanical and body shop. All during this time, she worked on her Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling, and she was working with many women and some couples who were facing difficult problems in life. Her qualification and experience in business administration and managing finances uniquely allows her to counsel from a biblical stewardship point of view. Having secured the Masters of Divinity (in Biblical Counseling) certification, Dr Liz has been doing Biblical Counseling on a regular basis. She is registered with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Care and Practice, and is an affiliate member of the Alberta Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also working on certification with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). Dr Liz has been married for 27 years, and has three adult children, all of whom are strong in faith in Jesus Christ. Her husband is an orthopaedic surgeon involved in charity medical work in India and Africa, and is the bishop overseeing the Anglican Orthodox Church ministries in South Asia.
