God Whispers When God whispers to you, do you hear his voice? Or have life’s struggles dulled your hearing and caused a barrier between you so that you cannot hear Him at all? Have you been caught up in life’s snare and forgotten he’s even there? His voice sounds like a mighty rushing wave pounding fiercely against the trials of your life Yet knocking softly upon your heart asking, ‘May I come and dine therein? Where have you been? I’ve whispered your name. I trust you were not indulging in sin again.” I knew I had, thus, I bowed my head in shame and replied, “Oh God forgive me this day; Yes, I have sinned again. Please forgive me Dear Lord. Why did you make me so weak oh Lord? I neglected my prayers, though even worse Dear Lord, I became distracted with life’s ambitions and forgot how to truly listen. Dr Elizabeth T. M.Sc (Chemistry), C.Dip.A.F., MBA, DBA, M.Div (Biblical Counseling)
Dr Liz began her career as a college lecturer in chemistry. She subsequently moved into
the business field, securing an accounting and finance diploma with the Certified
Accountants Association (UK) followed by a MBA and DBA (Doctor of Business
Administration). She then managed a busy medical practice followed by a auto
mechanical and body shop. All during this time, she worked on her Master of Divinity in
Biblical Counseling, and she was working with many women and some couples who were
facing difficult problems in life.
Her qualification and experience in business administration and managing finances
uniquely allows her to counsel from a biblical stewardship point of view. Having secured
the Masters of Divinity (in Biblical Counseling) certification, Dr Liz has been doing Biblical
Counseling on a regular basis.
She is registered with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Care and Practice, and is an
affiliate member of the Alberta Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also
working on certification with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC).
Dr Liz has been married for 27 years, and has three adult children, all of whom are strong
in faith in Jesus Christ. Her husband is an orthopaedic surgeon involved in charity
medical work in India and Africa, and is the bishop overseeing the Anglican Orthodox
Church ministries in South Asia.

The Reason I Smile The joy of the Lord Fills my heart, No matter what Is going on around me; No matter the circumstances In my life Or in the world; I can always form a smile! The reason is simply Jesus! When I think about the Lord And all the marvellous things He does, I cannot help but smile! Because He is risen and seated At the right hand of God -- I smile; Because He is full of justice and truth -- I smile; Because He sees the hearts and minds Of every man, woman and child -- I smile; For I know the day is approaching When mankind will no longer be able To hide behind pretences and myths; For the truth about the Son of God Will be revealed to all! | Discovery One of the greatest Discoveries I have made Is finding out the Lord Works through our pain! Father God is acutely aware Of life's hardships and heartbreaks; He walks alongside us to hold us up, And sometimes carries us When we can't find the strength to carry on! He is our comforter; our life preserver; He is with us during Life's storms and tornadoes; He is there through the millstone of tears; And the moments of utter wretchedness! He stands as our pillar, our rock; Preventing the waves of life's circumstances From destroying us! Through the various trials and tribulations Life throws our way, I have discovered we, all of us, Can emerge stronger and more assured Of God's awesome grace!
